Günther Pipp studied at the Universities of St. Gallen (HSG) and Geneva, was a student of the legendary St. Gallen Professor Dr. Dr. Hans Ulrich and completed his doctorate in economics at the University of St. Gallen. After years of teaching and traveling with project responsibility in the USA and Asia, he worked with Professor Dr. Cuno Pümpin and Professor Dr. Fredmund Malik as an employed consultant and lecturer at the University of St. Gallen, before gradually building up the St. Gallen Group of Business Schools as part of a partial privatization starting in 1984 and developing it into a globally active, leading institution for teaching the holistic, sustainable management philosophy.
